Fine Art Prints can be printed through various means including Lithography, Screen Printing, Offset Printing, Digital Art Printmaking also known as Giclee, and Digital Printing for smaller pieces and photography.

Offset Art Prints

Offset Printed Art Prints are the industry standard for large runs of printed materials. With SunDance’s advanced color matching, there has never been a better solution for larger quantities of items up to 40”.

Giclee Art Prints

Giclee Art prints are done on machines similar to large LaserJet printers, making them cost effective for one offs, small runs, or Print on Demand items. This means they can be printed to order, at any time, on any medium or size. Giclee can be done on acid-free archival paper, canvas, cloth and different mixed media such as acrylic, glass, metal or wood. The process is done with different types of archival quality inks or pigments and curing methods depending on the type of material to be printed. These include Aqueous Solvent, Hot Solvent, Eco-Solvent, Ultraviolet or UV Ink, and Latex Ink.

Digital Prints & Digital Photo Prints

Digital prints can be a great solution for short runs of small pieces. Similarly, digital photo prints can be done rapidly on demand without compromising quality or requiring storage of inventory which may be susceptible to moisture and the elements.

Florida Print Awards 2016

The 2016 Florida Print Awards were held Friday, July 29th in Orlando with nominees, attendees and representatives of the printing industry from across the state. At the 2015 awards, SunDance took home an astounding 45 Awards, many of which from a number of successful self-promotional pieces, events and campaigns. This year's entries and 21 awards were almost exclusively from client work. The total was Ten 1st Place - Best of Category Awards, Ten 2nd Place Awards of Excellence, One 3rd Place Judges Award and The Certificate of Merit awarded by the judges for "those who have achieved an extremely high level of quality in printing and design."

The Webber Athletic Department, under the vision of Associate Athletic Director Steve Rassel, wanted to create an attractive first motivational impression as student athletes enter the main Field House and Strength and Conditioning Center. Director Rassel, in consulting with SunDance, decided to feature a large WARRIORS sign created from decals along the white fence running along the walkway into the Field House.

To welcome new associates to the Signature Flight Support family, they are provided with a New Employee Welcome Kit including a welcome note, a pen, a breakaway lanyard (necessary for aviation), a dual badge holder, a business card holder, and a pocket-sized brochure highlighting Signature Flight Support's Vision, Mission, and Values. The soft touch laminate box with custom cut foam insert perfectly hold each item in its place, making the final product the professional yet warm welcome that Signature Flight Support was looking to achieve.

SunDance worked with Signature Flight Support to pick the items for the kit, design the individual pieces and develop the packaging. The flat boxes were produced on 24 pt C2S stock utilizing SunDance’s new 40 inch, six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster press. Following print production, the sheets were laminated with a soft touch laminate and die cut. The next steps included assembling all of the boxes, adding the die cut foam insert, and placing all of the items in the box.

SunDance Acquires Yet Another Unique Finishing Capability to Give Designers Even More Opportunities to Be Creative

Orlando, FL (15 July 2016) - SunDance (sundanceusa.com), an Orlando-based firm offering design, print and mailing services, today announced it has added yet another set of unique capabilities to its broad portfolio of products and services with the acquisition of two Siska machines for setting eyelets, grommets and rivets.

"When our clients come to us with unique requirements, we have a hard time saying no," said JohnHenry Ruggieri, Managing Director. “That has led us to accumulate an eclectic set of services all available under one roof, from all types of printing and mailing to laser engraving, die cutting and foiling. That’s why when a major international hotel chain came to us with a requirement to produce an unusual design for its Do Not Disturb and Please Service Room door hangers, we had no hesitation in seeking out the best possible tools to implement the design so we could produce the entire project in-house.”

The Siska rivet-setting machine is capable of setting a wide range of colored rivets and eyelets for apparel or paper. Eyelets have an approximate outside diameter of 5/16”, inside diameter of 3/16” and a barrel length ranging from 3/32” to 14/32”.

The Siska grommet machine is capable of setting a wide range of grommets from a #2 (3/8”) grommet up to a #6 grommet.

In addition to creative door hangers, the Siska machines are ideal for creating beautiful album-style books for photos, guest books and more, as well as adding unusual design elements that are only limited by the designer’s imagination.

“We’ll have a variety of rivets, grommets and eyelets in stock,” Ruggieri adds, “for fast turn work, but we are also able to acquire custom colors with a small additional lead time. We’re excited to bring this new offering to our clients and see their creativity flourish in new directions!”

A great client of ours came to us and he wanted to see if we could laser etch his logo into a wooden wine box. We jumped right into testing it and ended up with some amazing results. Not only could we do the top like he requested, but we figured out how to do the sides as well. We even figured out how to design artwork so that the box looked like it came from a large vineyard.
