    INTA Daily Newspaper

    Euromoney Trading Ltd, based in the United Kingdom, was responsible for finding an Orlando area printer with a scope of solutions to print the INTA Daily Newspaper. Based on its strategic location 10 minutes from the Orange County Convention Center and capabilities, SunDance was selected to produce the daily newspaper.

    SunDance, with its scope of capabilities, was easily able to meet all of the production and delivery needs of INTA. Over a five day period, SunDance would receive the files at 10:00 pm and would need to deliver the final INTA Daily Newspaper the next day by 7:00 am. The INTA Daily Newspaper would vary in size of from 12 to 20 pages over the five days.

    The International Trademark Association (INTA) is the global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce. Why are trademarks important?

    From May 21 – 25, 2016 INTA hosted the largest Annual Meeting in its history in Orlando, Florida. The number of brand management, trademark and IP professionals registered for this year’s Annual Meeting in Orlando topped 10,115 at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

    Webber International University - Warrior Decal Panels

    Large Format Outdoor Installation

    The Webber Athletic Department, under the vision of Associate Athletic Director Steve Rassel, wanted to create an attractive first motivational impression as student athletes enter the main Field House and Strength and Conditioning Center. Director Rassel, in consulting with SunDance, decided to feature a large WARRIORS sign created from decals along the white fence running along the walkway into the Field House.

    The most significant challenge facing the SunDance team was to manufacture and install a product that would remain for multiple years with minimal maintenance. A decision was made to produce the large letters on a 3M IJ40 Calendared Wall/Trailer Wrap and then seal the Letters with a weather resistant over laminate. The laminated Letters were then mounted on aluminum panels that were then installed along the fence.

    About Webber International University

    On April 6, 1927, Grace Knight and Roger W. Babson founded the University which was to carry the last name of their granddaughter, Camilla Grace Webber. Roger Babson was best known for his contributions in the areas of economics and finance, which included the establishments of Babson’s Reports and authorship of a number of business publications and books. Among his numerous philanthropic contributions were the establishment of several institutions of higher learning and service on a number of corporate boards, as well as the endowment of several charitable foundations.

    Webber was originally established as a women’s college, with the exclusive purpose of teaching women about business. It was the first school chartered under the educational and charitable laws of the State of Florida as a non-profit organization. The University’s mission is to offer students an array of business, liberal arts and sciences, and pre-professional programs of study that create a life transforming educational opportunity which is practical in its application, global in its scope, and multi-disciplinary in its general education core. The University awards degrees at the bachelor and master levels at locations in Florida and North Carolina, as well as at the associate level in Florida.

    The Webber Warriors compete as an NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) in the Sun Conference offering 12 different Men’s and Women’s sports.

    Comar Open House 2016 Campaign

    Client: Comar Project/Campaign Name: Open House 2016 Brief Description of Clients’ Business:

    Comar is a specialty packaging and dispensing provider with a longstanding reputation for developing innovative, industry-compliant packaging solutions for the Health and Wellness, Specialty Food, Household and Industrial, Personal Care, and related market segments worldwide. Focused on quality, service, and innovation for more than six decades, we now stand poised for national and global expansion.

    Project/Campaign Objective:

    The objective of this campaign was to drive attendance for an Open House hosted by Comar at their recently $7 million dollar renovated Rancho Cucamonga facility in CA. This was a multi-channel campaign consisting of a “Save the Date,” oversized postcard, and a dimensional mail invite with bottle cut out. Both mail pieces contain a PURL to make responses each to capture and track. Campaign achieved a 9% response rate for open house event. Project pieces included the following: Save the Date Oversized Postcard, Dimensional Mail Invite, Sales Handout and Banners/Signage at event.

    Production Notes:

    Save the Date: 12x15 Oversized Postcard on 16pt. Mirri Board printed 4cp/4cp + White
    Invitation: Bottle was printed on PETG Clear .060 thick and then Contour cut to bottle shape. Bottle was then adhered to a variable insert printed on Mirri Board. Additional insert was printed on Pearlescent Ice Cover and then all components were inserted into a clear envelope for mailing.

    Credit Karma

    Credit Karma “Strike Up” Ride

    Credit Karma sponsored Cinco de Mayo events in southern California where the “Strike Up” ride was temporarily installed with Credit Karma Branding. SunDance produced an original set of graphics printed on di bond substrate, a 5 x 20 foot banner graphic in the middle of the ride, and the header graphic printed on acrylic.

    EA Sports Character Cutouts

    Wide Format Cutouts

    To recreate real world versions of their videogame environments EA Sports enlisted SunDance Marketing Solutions. The trade show booths were designed to immerse videogame players in each of the games at OTRONICON. The annual Orlando Electronic Interactive Entertainment Convention hosted by The Orlando Science Center allows science, art, technology, videogame, simulation and digital media companies to showcase their work.

    The SunDance Creative team suggested the best way to make their ideas reality, both within their budget and timeline. The plan became to create backdrops and free standing life-sized character cutouts from each game.

    The characters were printed directly on ½” Foam Board using the HP Flatbed 700. They were then cut on the ZUND Digital Cutter and installed on Might Mounts. This allowed them to stand freely with some of them nearly seven feet tall! A few of the backdrops were simple fabric, while others were also printed on the ½” Foam Board and stood behind the booth. Tying it all together with props and videogame stations, each booth became an extension of the game.

    The final product was turned around in record time and within budget, all while making EA Sports the stars of the show.

    Four Seasons Orlando Resort Wedding Folder

    Not every print job is so unique that it gives you pause enough to even consider submitting it for an award. Of the many jobs we do, one such job made quite an impression.

    The Wedding Folder for the Four Seasons Orlando Resort needed to embody the elegance of the occasion while being durable enough to hold everything necessary. Accomplishing this required a painstaking multi-step process on different machines to achieve the desired look.

    Due to the size of the piece, there were two passes for the pearl foil stamping. It was then embossed on a completely different machine utilizing the two separate foil dies combined. Getting the registration right on something so involved is nothing short of an art. There was yet another pass for the gold foil on the logo before it was die-cut, folded and glued.

    The clients loved the piece and at the 2015 PAF Awards, the Wedding Folder won an Award of Excellence for the production technique.
