Save the Dates
We sent out a teaser save the date ticket that was printed on 100# Gloss Cover, 4/4 on our HP Indigo 5600, Laminated with 2-sided matte laminate and digitally foil stamped the names of each person on the ticket. It created a personalized experience for everyone who received it. It was put into a skinny, bright yellow catalog envelope and digitally printed in full color on our envelope inkjetter.
Invitations
Our invitations were geared towards getting people in a wacky mood, so we created an invite that incorporated a “flipping” mechanism to slowly (or quickly depending on how you flip it) reveal the information of the invite. It was printed on 80# Gloss Cover, 4/4 with gloss AQ on our Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102, and a long 2-week noodling process of a complicated dieline. We die-cut on our finishing machine and folded, glued and assembled by hand. It was a week-long assembly process. We inserted them into bright yellow envelopes printed on our envelope inkjetter.
Website
www.sundanceholidayparty.com was created as an easy way to receive RSVP’s, info on the event and photos from the previous year and this year. It was created as a responsive parallax site that left you playing with it for several minutes! We paired this with several email blasts to our clients.
Event Signage
To accentuate the event area, we created a large banner that mimicked the invite with the words “Cirque du SunDance” written largely. We custom routed the banner and hung them haphazardly with very thick rope to create the look of the banner hanging off the entrance. The sign was printed on our HP FlatBed 700. We also printed circus stripes on fabric in full color, printed on our HP Latex 3000.
We took elements from the invitations, like the seals, and blew them up large, custom route cut and printed on our HP FlatBed 700 and put them on the outside of the event.
Other
We got custom chocolate bars and wrapped them with custom wrapping, printed on our HP Indigo and wrapped around each bar.
Our lighted cube flashed in multiple colors and highlighted some of the cool things at the event.
We usually have an abundance of sweets, so we made little to-go candy boxes for people to take home with them. This was a complicated dieline and not everyone knew how to put it together but it was really fun and created a lot of interest in the piece.
