The HP Indigo uses a blanket like a press, providing press quality with digital benefits like short runs and variable data printing. The Indigo runs substrates as thick as 18pt card stock, which includes plastics and other synthetic substrates, making creative digital printing more versatile than ever. Our white ink capabilities also open up the door for even more specialized substrates, allowing for vivid printing on transparent, metallic and colored media for a wide range of applications. And speaking of colors – a robust color management system makes the Indigo the best in its class for color accuracy and consistency, allowing for expert color matching with custom PMS colors and Professional PANTONE® emulation. Other capabilities include special and spot color capabilities, high definition dot placement for superior line work and microtext printing and minimum-touch paper handling.
