SunDance & Monadnock Partner for Sustainable Sample Kits
As Florida’s first SGP certified Green offset printer, SunDance loves to work with vendors who share our commitment to the environment. We know our clients value sustainable materials that do not compromise on quality or performance.
When we began to design a large-format sample kit using Monadnock’s sustainable substrates, we wanted to highlight that big things can come in small packages. We decided on compact 4.5 x 4.5-inch box that fits comfortably in hand and unfolds to reveal the samples. We sent the ideas to our dieline designer, who offered suggestions and made a few tweaks for functionality. Our design team refined the text and created polished visual elements.
Each sustainable wide-format material in the kit was chosen for its practicality and versatility over a wide range of applications. To differentiate the substrates we chose a unique pattern from nature for each one. All Monadnock papers are FSC-certified and produced under an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, manufactured carbon-neutral (VERs) using 100% renewable, Green-e® certified wind energy (RECs). The kit includes
- Boulevard Poster – moisture-resistant, durable poster paper made from FSC-certified fiber, engineered with a scratch-resistant coating
- Pavilion PC 100 Poster – bright white matte substrate perfect for indoor use, made from FSC-certified 100% post-consumer waste recycled fiber
- Ultrahide PC 100 Blockout Poster – completely opaque smooth matte optimized for photographic reproduction on both sides, made from FSC-certified 100% post-consumer waste recycled fiber
- ENVI Wallgraphics – LEED-qualifying sustainable alternative to vinyl for walls, windows, and rigid surfaces, easy to clean and sanitize
- ENVisual Board 020 – curbside recyclable, FSC-certified alternative to styrene for rigid signage that prevents marring or fingerprints, easy to clean and sanitize
- ENVisual Board 040 – the heaviest and strongest option for a curbside recyclable, FSC-certified alternative to styrene; ideal for rigid signage, easy to clean and sanitize
Monadnock Paper Mills provided the eco-friendly substrates both to construct the boxes and the all the sample materials to provide to our clients. We also offer many of their other sustainable options for standard print applications.
